Rusty Bear is Chow/Mix some Shepard and some golden. She is such a sweetheart and will melt your heart. If you want a dog that never leaves your side this is the dog for you. She is very laid back but likes to play some also. She is the perfect dog if there such a thing. She has wonderful house manners, she doesn’t get up on the furniture and only barks when someone comes to the door. She walks well on the leash and also has done well loose and comes back when called.  She loves to go for car rides and doesn’t mind waiting while you do errands and gets excited when asked if she wants to go.

Rusty Bear gets along with my Pappion but does show her teeth to some dogs but if introduced right would probably get along with another dog. She also gets along with my cat. She had never seen a cat before so again the proper introduction would need to be done.

Rusty Bear gets along well with children and I think probably had children in her home as her ears pick up greatly when she hears kids and sees the school bus.  She would do better in a home with someone who is home all day as she still has some separation anxiety which may be due to what she went through. She is housebroken and does know a few tricks and even lets me dress her up she was a clown for Halloween and keep her costume on all day.
