The Tortie Survivors

"Tortie" is short for Tortoiseshell, and this type of cat has beautiful tri-colored fur. Torties are primarily black, with reddish orange and cream patches. They are usually female.

AHF's Fabulous Feline Foster mom describes the 4 Tortie Survivors below.

The one with the orange face and extra toes, we named
Clara and is very much a people cat. Follows me everywhere, and very much the talker. She is also the trouble maker of the group. Into everything!

The lightest colored one is
Sandy and is a lap kitty. She is my napping buddy when I get home from work. She will stay with you until you get up doesn't care where her sisters are just wants to cuddle with you. Is the clown of the group, anything for attention.

The largest one we named
Miss D cause she is a diva. She has great markings, you can see the orange tabby striping under her black tipped fur on her body but her face is going solid black. She is very mild mannered too prissy to be silly.

The smallest (two tan boots on front feet) we named
Nina and she is a typical tort. Very aloof until she decides to be petted then is a pest. She is gaining weight every day and much more active than before so (cross fingers) I think we are in the clear with her. She really likes the dogs and the scratch pads.
