Apple's Happy Story

   
Apple was recently rescued from a High Kill Shelter in Illinois. 

Transported to our area, vetted and then placed into a foster home - Apple had to be confused.  

 

 

 

One of our Almost Home volunteers was asked to give us an update. Steve eloquently writes..
 

Apple was almost home but went missing. Members and volunteers were notified. The neighborhood was searched. Flyers were created and distributed in stores and through email. 

Apple was found by a family who fell in love with her and plan to adopt her! 

A dog was found, then, lost and found again. This time it took only one day. Once, for Sully,  it took several months. We never stop looking. We are their almost-home until we find them their always-home. We are their family. It is what we do.
