This poor girl was abandoned.    She was outside, alone, during the winter cold snap, desperately trying to survive.  She was picked up by animal control.

She gave birth to her kittens at a high kill shelter.   Can you imagine anything worse?

She was on her last day at the shelter when she was rescued with her babies.

Her situation is not unique.    In the past couple of weeks, we have rescued other Mom cats and kittens with the same sad story.
