Hi, my name is Carmel. A little while ago my two siblings and I were abandoned by the backdoor of a historical museum in this area. We soon got hungry and thirsty, so when we saw this lady walking her three big dogs my brother decided to call for help. He meowed as loudly as he could...to make a long story short, we ended up getting rescued and are now living at the lady's house. 

We are growing up with other cats and the before mentioned dogs, as well as birds...and there are always some teenagers around, so we have lots of opportunities to get socialized! I am not afraid of anybody and will walk right up to those big dogs weighing twenty times more than I do! 

I am not quite as adventurous as my brother, but I am always just one step behind him. I always greet my foster mom when she comes home and crawl into her lap while she is on the computer. You can also hold me like a baby. And wait 'til you hear my purr! Maybe you can meet me at the next adoption show, you'll see how sweet I am.
