We call her Frankie, although she should be named Houdini (the name says it
all).
Her current behavior: Her schedule is a strange one. She usually
goes into hiding around 8am and comes out after 6pm. She is a night-time
cat but does not make much noise or wakes anyone up during the night.
She is not a lap cat, currently, and comes to you when she wants to be
pet. She enjoys being scratched on her head, behind the ears and,
eventually, underbelly. She does NOT like being picked up.
She is very good with children and sits by them when they play or do
homework. She loves playing with her toy mouse.
She has come along way from when we first received her. Her personality
comes out a little more every few days. She used to never come up and lay
on my bed to to get her belly rubbed. She also gives me nosy kisses every
once in a while.
She needs a family that will be patient with her and wait for her to come
to them. She will come out of her shell but she needs to feel safe. It
will take a few days before she even comes to you to pet her. She is slow
to trust but as long as you feed her, talk to her and let her know you love
her without the attention she will feel comfortable and safe. This is what
she needs.
