Éclair (nicknamed “Eekee”) is a very
friendly kitten, once he gets to know you, and very inquisitive. He’s
always poking his nose into something and wants to be part of all the action.
His face resembles a Siamese cat and he has beautiful, piercing, yellow eyes. He
loves to play with his toys and walks around the house carrying his mouse in his
mouth. He also like other cats. He hasn’t been exposed to dogs but
would probably get along with them after he gets to know them. He uses
scratching posts to sharpen his nails. Sometimes, he will sleep with you on the
bed at night.
Eclair and his sister, Torey, were rescued from a hoarder who housed 13 kittens
in a small bird cage. The hoarder had two mother cats that had a total of
21 kittens. Fortunately, Almost Home Foundation was able to rescue all of
them and find foster homes until they find their forever home.
Eclair and Torey have bonded so it is preferable that they be adopted
together; however, this is not mandatory. Kittens that are adopted in
pairs are less destructive in the house because they have each other to play
with.
Éclair likes to play with his sister as well as other cats. He needs to
be in a forever home with one or more cats as he likes to have someone to play
with.
