Gollum came to us as a stray in late October
2008. At first, he was very afraid and shaking all the time—that’s why we
named him Gollum, after the Lord of the Rings character who is also shaky.
Luckily, this kitty has since outgrown his shakiness! He loves to play with the
Turbo-Scratcher, is constantly purring (it’s very loud), and likes being held.
He’s very shy at first, but comes around pretty quickly.
When Gollum first arrived at his foster home, there were seven other cats there.
He quickly bonded with PT Cruiser, and vice-versa. Gollum loves to imitate PT
and is always following him around. PT loves to clean Gollum and acts like his
“protector” at times. They are very, very bonded; therefore, Gollum and PT
Cruiser must be adopted together.
Gollum is litter-box trained and has had his vaccinations. He is about 3 months
old. He needs to find his forever home with PT Cruiser, so if you’re
