Torey is as cute as a button and very
affectionate! She likes to walk in front of you , suddenly roll on her
back for you to tickle her tummy, then purrs loudly. She loves to play
with her toys and walks around carrying a little mouse in her mouth. She
uses scratching posts to sharpen her nails.
Sometimes, she will sleep with you on the bed at night.
Torey and her brother, Éclair (nicknamed “Eekee”), were rescued from a
hoarder who housed 13 kittens in a small bird cage. The hoarder had two
mother cats that had a total of 21 kittens. Fortunately, Almost Home
Foundation was able to rescue all of them and find foster homes until they find
their forever home.
Torey and Éclair have bonded so it is preferable that they be adopted together;
however, this is not mandatory. Kittens that are adopted in pairs are less
destructive in the house because they have each other to play with.
Torey likes to play with her brother as well as other cats. She hasn’t
been exposed to dogs but would probably get along with them after she gets used
to them. She needs to be in a forever home with one or more cats as she
likes to have someone to play with.
