Mama was brought to Almost Home Foundation by
a caring, concerned angel. He worried about not only her safety, but that
of her babies as well. Over the years, he had seen her lovingly attend to
one litter after another. She was so friendly it was assumed she was
someone's pet. No owner was ever found. It wasn't good for her to
continue having litters like that, and without being spayed that would surely be
her fate.
Although she'd been found outdoors, Mama took very well to life indoors.
She no longer has to worry about caring for her babies, she's safe, with plenty
of food and comfy places to snooze. She is friendly and amazingly open to
affection from people, especially in a quieter atmosphere. She might not
be a young girl, but she's not over the hill either, as she wants to point out!
Mama's compact little grey body bunches up even tinier when she sees you , she
gets excited for some pets and attention. She dances a little with her
feet in anticipation and gives you a look that shows in her eyes just how very
grateful she is. Yes, she does the “happy dance”! Her calm,
sweet nature makes for a wonderful companion for other cats and people alike.
Mama gets along well with other cats, never fusses, and just wants a home to
call her own. If you'll consider adding her to your family, she'll surely
dance for you!
