Minky and Joy
Hi! We're brother and sister, and we have so much to tell you about!
We were once living with a hoarder, although we were too young to remember that
now. Almost Home Foundation took us in, along with our mother, another
mother and all the babies, including a couple who didn't have their mother
anymore. It was a generous thing to even consider taking us all in at once
– we were sent in bird cages,
sick, and used to neglect. But for us, we were finally safe and had a
chance to have a good life.
Our mom always took very good care of us, and she was finally being cared for.
We were able to get past the infections and neglect that brought us to AHF, we
were able to grow healthy and strong. We're very close, the two of us, you
can often find us cuddling together in the same cuddler. Family is
important to us, our mother taught us that. We're very good kids who love
to get pets and attention. We keep each other company when our foster
family is busy, and we're very calm for our age. We're looking now for our own
family, our own place to call home forever. We love each other, we know we
could love a family too. And that family would love us, just like our
mother does!
