Meet Miracle

Miracles are rare and special—just like me. About a year ago, I was all set to go and live out my life as a barn cat. One of my ears was clipped so people would know I was spayed. I was shy and skittish, hid all the time, and showed very little interest in people. But I’m just a wallflower, not a wild kitty. I’m no hunter and am not too good at defending myself. I got my own miracle when an AHF volunteer saw me shortly before I was scheduled to go to the barn, and she knew my personality wasn’t right for an outdoor life.

So I was placed in a foster home through AHF, where wonderful people have been working with me for the past year. In that time, I have proven that I would make a wonderful house cat. I am shy and quiet, gentle and sweet, curious and intelligent...who could ask for a more precious personality? I’m interested in people now and I get along well with other cats. I am a fairly independent girl but still love to be loved. And although I'm not a kitten, I like to play with cat toys! I am also very clean and well-behaved, and I love gazing out the window. I’m not a lap cat, but I’m not a hider, either. I'm definitely curious about exploring my surroundings!

My forever home needs to be a calm and quiet place, and my forever family needs to be patient and understanding. I just need to feel comfortable and safe before opening up to you. It takes time to gain my trust, but once you’ve earned it, it’s there forever. I will love and trust you forever. Just ask my foster family!

My coat is a gleaming shade of light gray and I have the most beautiful inquisitive eyes. I am micro-chipped, spayed, litter-box trained, and I have all of my vaccinations. Once again, I am all set to go...but this time, it’s to my forever home. I need a kind-hearted family who will love and treasure me forever and always. Of course, I will return the favor! If you’re interested in adopting me, please contact my foster family at katylynne@prodigy.net
