Hi! I was named Tippy because of the
white tip on my tail. It looks like I've dipped it in paint and am ready
to do a little artwork. The only artwork I really do with my tail
fascinates everyone who sees it. It's a dual project, one that I do with
my partner. You see, Carolina and I are soulmates, we met at our foster
home. Talk about love at first sight! She's my honey-bun, my
sunshine, my comforter on cold nights and when I'm feeling the need to snuggle.
We like to hang around together, never far apart even when we're socializing
with the other foster cats. When we get back together we dance a slow one,
then entwine our tails in the shape of a heart. Only those truly in love,
and truly talented, can do this. It's our symbol of our connection with
each other.
I came to Almost Home Foundation from a home where I was terribly mistreated.
If I could talk human, I'd explain to you how my eye was injured. It looks
strange, at least not normal, but I see fine and have no problem with it.
It's just a scar that reminds me when I look in a mirror of those bad times in
my past. I get nervous of people, I don't want to, but after what I went
through it's just one of those things. I'm sorry, I try really hard, but I
get the urge to avoid being touched. I need to feel safe, secure, loved.
I'm sure if I could have that, I'd be able to relax and open up to people more.
I'm looking for a forever home that would accept me as I am, less than perfect,
and willing to give me the patience and love to overcome my past. I really
want to give love back! And I just can't go anywhere without my Carolina,
we're just meant to be together. Our tails tell the tale.
