Morris is a real hoot! He is a fun-loving cat who knows how to have a good time. He is always on the move, ready to explore and play. Morris is usually up to something and loves making people laugh. He is also very friendly and is a major "people cat." He gets along with other cats (loves engaging them in play) but can be a little dominant sometimes.
Morris is not the least bit shy. He greets everyone at the front door of his foster home. He is affectionate and just loves petted. He also likes to weave around people's legs. He doesn't like being picked up or held, but he spends every night curled up under the bed blankets with his foster family. He curls up right at your legs and sleeps the night away.
Morris is a bit clumsy and is on the large side. This is probably because he spent four months living in a cage at a high-kill shelter. He didn't get much exercise there. He was rescued from the shelter three days after Christmas 2009. He was nervous about his new surroundings at first, but settled into his foster home after a few days.
Morris is 3 years old and has light orange and white markings. He is neutered, microchipped, is litterbox trained, and has all of his vaccinations. Morris can be a little rough when he plays, so he might not do well with young children. If you're interested in adopting Morris, you can contact his foster family at katylynne@prodigy.net. You can also meet Morris almost every Saturday at the Bloomingdale Petsmart on Gary Avenue from 11-3.
