My name is Teddy, but I'm a cat, not a bear! I’m talkative, friendly, and love it when people give me attention. I’ll even seek out some extra attention every now and then. I’m also curious and love to explore--and yes, I tend to get into everything! My small size wouldn’t indicate this, but I’m also a very dominant boy who likes to be in charge of his surroundings. I think this is why I have such a hard time getting along with other cats. I try to dominate over other cats, which they don’t like, so I would be happiest as an only cat in my forever home.
I was born in May 2009 and am neutered, microchipped, litterbox trained, and have all of my vaccinations. I’m a really great cat and a huge fan of people! I’ve got two strikes against me because I’m black and I need to be an only cat. I’ve heard it’ll be hard for me to find a home because of these things. Please prove everyone wrong and give me a chance! If you’re interested in adopting me, please contact my foster family at cats@almosthomefoundation.org.
