Bright eyes, a shy grin, lots of energy and a purrfectly beautiful face, you
would never realize what Sophie has been through in her short life. Rescued by
Almost Home from a high-kill shelter, when she came into my foster home, I
noticed a lump on her side. When Sophie went to the vet appointment for her
spay, I was advised that Sophie had been attacked by a dog or coyote when she
was outside and she had a hernia that allowed her kidney to poke through and
be visible from the side. The vet called her a "miracle" and I think she is
too!
The surgery required an incision with 10 stitches to close. She survived,
healed and is now a thriving little girl who has forgotten those sad memories.
Sophie Miracle is a bundle of love with so much to give who asks little in
return. A cuddler to snooze in, water to drink and food to eat....and a family
who loves her for the wonderful cat she is!
She doesn't even have to try to steal your heart.....it happens in a second
when you meet her! PLEASE UNDERSTAND....due to her past Sophie Miracle cannot
be in a home with a dog! If you are looking for a cat to share your life, love
and TLC with, Sophie is your girl!
