Bethany is one of the dogs from the Franklin County Animal
Control shelter that caught fire just a couple of weeks ago.
As you can imagine, she was in a terrified state when AHF
reached out to help her and many of her furry friends. Now
she is safe in a foster home and coming out of her shell.
Each day a new part of her personality emerges..she is a very
sweet girl, although still shy and unsure of herself at times.
She's a quick learner too..she was house trained in a little
over a week! She just has so much love to give. She is happiest
at your side, sleeping at your feet. She's quiet and very
laid back although she is still so young. She has been through
a lot, but we have no doubt in our minds she will make a wonderful,
loving additon to any home. In the short time she's been in
foster care, she has gained weight, not to mention confidence!
She loves all people and other dogs. And just adores people
telling her how preety she is!! :) She's still a puppy..she
should be around 8 months old and just needs a little more
meat on her bones..but as you can see she is a beauty! She's
a medium sized dog, around 38 pounds right now and will probably
fill out nicely fully grown at another 10 pounds or so. But
won't get much bigger.. These pics don't do her justice, she
is just beautiful! Come meet her at one of our adoption shows!
Or feel free to email the foster family with questions. She
will just melt your heart!
