Sorry about my yawning, I am a bit tired... it's not easy being the single mom to six bouncy puppies. They were born in early May and we all ended up in a Kill Shelter. It looked like my little ones would never even have a chance to grow up, but then we were taken in by Almost Home Foundation. Thank goodness, our lives have been spared!

The little ones were a lot of work, you can't imagine how much, but I did a fantastic job. They grow up so fast and before I knew it they were ready for adoption. I am almost done with my work and can look forward to finding a nice family of my own.

But excuse my manners or better lack thereof, I better introduce myself. My name is Daisy Mae and I am a Rat Terrier mix. I am only about 2 ½ years old and still playful and energetic. I love to run around the yard but in the house I am very good; I'll relax by your feet and sleep until you tell me it's time to get up. In other words, I will let you sleep in and not bug you to take me outside. Don't you like that? I thought so! If you have other pets, I would be the perfect choice for you because I get along well with other animals...well, maybe not bunnies, they look too delicious to me, but other dogs and even cats. I also love children and I am very good with them.

I hope to find a nice new home where I can be loved forever; a fenced-in yard would be a plus. Please take a good look at me and give me a chance! Hope to see you soon.
