Meet Roxy

How many throwbacks can I take in my short dog's life, I wonder?

I am very sad right now because I lost my young boy- my buddy, my playmate, my friend; he went to heaven and instead of keeping me to help in the mourning process by staying by her side and licking off her tears his mom returned me to Almost Home Foundation...I am homeless once again. She says she doesn't have time for me any more, but what about the other small dog- he got to stay with her.
This is the third home I have lost in my life... I have done nothing to deserve such a fate. I am a great dog, a 70 pound Rottweiler, yes, but I am a very good girl who gets along with kids (remember my boy?) and other dogs, too. I like to play- tennis balls anyone? - and will be your loyal companion if you let me. All I need is someone who will take me home and then, please, please, please, keep me for the rest of my life. I have had too many disappointments already and don't think I deserve this. Just open your heart and give me a chance.
