Meet Shrimp

When Shrimp got hit by a car, the driver thought he was dead, but Shrimp is a true survivor and only has a swollen leg and other slight bruises and wounds. Looking at him we can only guess what a sad life he has left behind. He weighs about 60 pounds, but should gain about another 15 to be in good shape. His ears were flea bitten and a chunk of his ear was missing which made him bleed every time he shook his head. His mouth looked like another dog had gotten him. How can people be so cruel to helpless animals and let bad things happen to them?

Yet despite all the pain and suffering this dog has experienced, Shrimp is in good spirit. He is so sweet, almost a bit timid and quickly made friends with everybody at the animal hospital. Even while they were cleaning the wounds on his ears, he kept licking their faces. He is also friendly with other dogs and cats.

With his wonderful personality, this brave soul really deserves another chance and everybody was glad that Almost Home Foundation took him in and is trying to help him find a happy ending to a sad story...can you help Shrimp?
