Meet Alexander

If you're looking for a sweet, loving and faithful friend - here I am! Cute, too, so I've been told. I'm just a big, soft boy, looking for my forever family. Don't know what happened, but I ended up in an awful place that they call a Kill Shelter. There were a lot of us there, and we were all sad and afraid - and so alone. Why did our owners leave us like this?

Not to worry. I'm now in a really great home with foster dog buddies to play with and humans that love me. There are also those furry things - cats, I think - that are OK, too. I feel safe, am warm and I'm not hungry any more. My foster mom says that I need to gain some weight because under my soft coat, I'm a pretty boney fellow. I've also heard her say that my big brown, soulful eyes tell a story that I'd like to forget. I mean really.how much rejection and loneliness should a young guy have to take? She just can't understand how anyone could forsake me.with a face like this?

I have a crate if I want to use it, but I'd rather roam the house with everyone else. I really like running in the dog park and going for long walks.a fenced in yard in my forever home would be perfect, along with another dog friend to romp with.

Please, please come to visit me at the next adoption show. I'm waiting for my perfect forever home.I'd give you more love and devotion than you could ever imagine.just give me a chance!
