Aries is a puppy-ish young
Golden Retriever. She is even more gorgeous than her photo,
gentle and friendly. She is underweight at 40 pounds, so good
food, a warm and consistent home and lots of love will help
her grow into the incredible companion she is meant to be. Aries
needs help with her housebreaking training, but seems to be
crate trained. She loves soft squeaky toys and rawhides and
will joyfully play fetch with you when you are up for it. This
young girl needs some guidance and would probably do best in
a home with someone home, another dog or a working home with
patience to teach her the basics.
Aries is very smart and wants to please. She knows how to
walk on a leash, knows 'sit' and is learning 'down'. She will
be delighted to snuggle with you on the couch or curl up with
you on the bed if you allow it. But she will also identify
'her' pillow on the floor if that is the house rules. She
is also curious, outgoing and a real charmer. Aries front
left paw is a club foot, but it does not hinder her, she may
even be a candidate for agility training, flyball or any other
fun activity. Please come see Aries soon at an adoption show,
she may be your "forever friend."
Aries, like the true sporting Golden she is, loves water
and has staked her yard claim against the squirrels. She seems
to like to watch the small birds at the feeders.
