Ava is a great dog who was rescued from a High Kill shelter. This black Lab mix with beautiful white markings came in a little timid, but is now in foster care and doing great. She is starting to show her true playful and sweet personality. Even though she used to pick her dog friends, she is getting better with each dog. Ava weighs about 35 pounds, is housebroken, crate trained and well behaved in the house. Since she has a lot of energy, she would love to be able to run in a fenced-in yard; going on daily walks in addition to that would be heaven to her.
