Bow wow my name is Leprechaun

My wonderful volunteer foster parent wrote this story about me.

Leprechaun is a 2 ½ year old male miniature pinscher. He has a beautiful rusty brown color coat and the most wonderful brown eyes. You must meet him and look into his eyes to understand. I have had Leprechaun in my foster home since 3/17/08. He has been a wonderful addition to my two adopted female dogs. He is skiddish and takes a little time to warm up to you. Loud noises startled him, but he is getting used to my two dogs barking. He shook for the first several hours that I had him, but then settled down next to me on the couch. Leprechaun appears house trained; he has never had an accident in my house. It doesn't appear that he had been on a leash before but he is getting more use to it. He is beginning to learn to "sit" for me, but he will need some training. He also shakes when he is first put on the leash for a while. Since he is 2 ½ years old, he is past the "puppy" stage and does not chew or destroy things. When he is ready, he likes to snuggle on the couch next to me and he sleeps in the bed with me and my two dogs. Leprechaun doesn't have a favorite toy yet; he just likes to run around and chase one of my other dogs. They play chase in and out of the carpeted rooms and outside.

If you would like to ask questions or visit with Leprechaun, please call me or email me. He will make a great addition to someone's home.
