My
wonderful volunteer foster parent wrote this story about me.
Hi, my name is Sangria. I used to have a family
in a house in Southern Illinois, but then something called
foreclosure happened and we found ourselves homeless. A job
was found in Chicago, we loaded up the car and headed north.
Unfortunately our car broke down and was beyond repair. My
family had to buy tickets for the Greyhound bus, but guess
what?? They don't allow dogs on the bus that's named after
a dog and I couldn't come along. My family had no choice but
leave me at a kill shelter, in hopes I would get saved before
my time there was up. I lucked out and Almost Home took me
in. They say they'll help me find another family to love and
care for me. I am an energetic, playful young girl of absolute
beauty, with long slender limbs and a sparkle in my light
brown eyes. My former family said I am housebroken and good
with kids and other pets.
Please come meet me and take me home... I am so looking forward
to running and playing with you.
