Aray is a beautiful hound mix puppy who is about 9 months old. Aray has come a long way to be with us at AHF. Aray and her brother Symphony where rescued from a kill shelter in TN., by a nice man named Frank. After spending 2 months at his home and not finding a forever home (what she longs for the most), Aray and her brother found themselves on a plane called Pilots For Paws which brought them to IL. Aray's brother has found his home already. Now she wonders when it will be her turn.
Aray is a very sweet happy puppy. She is fostered with other dogs, cats, and children. She is very good with them all. Aray is a out going puppy that loves attention and likes to be with you. She would do well with some obedience training. Like any dog, it's a good way for you to get to know each other. Aray is still in the stages of potty training but will have that down soon. I hope that Aray's search ends with you. Are you her forever home? Please come out and visit with her at the next show; she is waiting for you!!
AHF puppy hints The best
home for such a young puppy will be one where someone is home
all day to ensure the puppy is socialized and housebroken.
Leaving young puppies alone for long periods during the day
can cause severe social and dysfunctional problems. The puppies
need to be adopted locally because the shelter will do a home
check prior to the adoption and the puppies' vet care will
be handled out of Schaumburg, IL.
