Bow wow my name is Aristotle

I am a two-year old miniature pincher mix. When I first arrived at my foster home, I was a very shy nervous little guy. I had a rough life before I was rescued and it left me a little timid and skittish. But after a few days, I started to realize that I was safe and my joyous personality came out. And let me tell you, I am a very happy little guy! I love to shower my foster family with kisses, and I greet everyone at the door with a wagging tail. I get along really well with the two dogs I live with. I enjoy playing chase with them in the backyard. I would really like my new home to have a backyard as I love to have someone throw a tennis ball for me to chase. Although, you should know, that I am not very good at bringing them back.

At night I sleep at the bottom of my foster parents' bed. I am a great foot warmer. I also enjoying sleeping in a dog bed in my foster parents' bedroom. I just like being close to them all the time. When they do have to leave, though, I have free run of the house, except for the kitchen. Apparently I have a bad habit left over from my old life of taking food that is not mine. I just can't help it, but a gate across the kitchen keeps me out, and with time I will learn that this is not something I have to do anymore.

Above all, my favorite thing is to go for a walk. As soon as my leash comes out, I get all excited and spin in a circle. My foster mom and dad are very impressed with how well behaved I am on a leash. I walk right by their side the whole time. Since I came to my foster home, I have been really good about doing my busy outside. I am a smart little guy. I am even learning commands in my foster house, like sit, stay, and down.

So if there is room in your heart for a happy little guy like me, come out on Saturday and meet me! Remember though, I can be a little shy at first, until I get to know you. It might even seem like I am not interested in you, but trust me, I'm just being shy and a little nervous. You can ask my foster mom: I am totally worth the wait!
