Benji has a personality that shines. He plays like a puppy with his toys, especially his
tennis ball. Don't let his age fool you. Poodles can live a long time and Benji seems to
know that.
Benji will let you know when he has to be let outside, or to come in. He likes to bark
his message, and when he does his whole front end bounces in the air. When he's not
playing or eating, he just wants to be by your side. He likes to relax where he can see
you and enjoys being petted.
Benji has battle wounds on his ears that are still healing and are very sensitive. He
shouldn't be around small children who might touch the ears.
Benji didn't have an ideal start in life and sometimes gets scared and defensive.
He's good with both cats and dogs when introduced properly. He is a healthy vibrant dog
that would be thrilled to find a forever home. If you can't make it to an adoption show
to meet him, his foster mom would be glad to meet during the week.
