Darla is a 9 month old Terrier / Hound mix and has been in a foster home for about one
month. Darla is in a home with another dog and is doing very well. She is a low
maintenance dog who loves to relax, bask in the sun, and play with her foster family and
their dog. Darla loves going for walks especially when it’s time to take the girls to
school. She loves being the center of attention and loves receiving affection as well
as giving it. Darla is currently being obedience trained and is doing very well.
Darla is potty trained and crate trained, she doesn’t jump on the furniture or sleep in
her foster family’s bed. She has displayed no signs of destructive behavior. Having a 5
and 7 year old in her foster house there are toys laying around and Darla hasn’t shown
any interest in them. I believe that Darla will be able to have the run of the house
once she is a bit older and has become comfortable in her new home. Darla is given free
reign of her foster home day and night. The only time she is crated is when her foster
family goes somewhere. Darla would make a great addition to a family who can give her
the love and attention she deserves.
