My name is Dusty. When I came to live in my foster home, I was a scared little girl. I walked around scrunched down with my tail tucked between my legs. To my surprise, my foster parents didn't hit or kick me and are very gentle. I really like that!

I am learning to sit on laps and be cuddled. That really nice. Now I can walk up straight and I even wag my tail!! My foster mom says now I have a happy butt.

I can get a little jealous and snarky when the my foster parents pay attention to the the other dogs though (but I DO like the cat!!). But after all, they need to understand that I am making up for lost time. I hope I can find a really kind and gentle person to make this happen in my own forever home.
