Bow wow my name is Lancer

My wonderful foster parent wrote this story about me

Hi, my name is Lancer. I am a young one year old Beagle. I got in from Georgia four weeks ago with my mom, Lilyanna. I love the snow! I love romping and rolling in the snow. It is so much fun. I am very playful. I also love to chew so don’t forget some good chew toys for me. I am working on potty training but I am not quite there yet. It helps when my foster mom is on a regular schedule of feeding and walking, etc… but she is trying. You see, she has three other dogs in the house, my mom and her two adopted pups. We all get along but I have really grown attached to my foster mom. It’s time for me to “grow up and be a big boy” and leave my mom Lilyanna and find my forever home. I think that would be okay, but I will need a couple days to get adjusted to not living with my mom and my foster mom. If you play with me and walk me and let me cuddle with you, I think I will be just fine. I am doing really well on a leash now too. I am soooo looking for my forever home where I can stay for the rest of my life. I am good with dogs and all kinds of people. I ride in a car really well too. If you are interested in meeting me, just email my foster mom at asego_sw@yahoo.com and she will set up a time for us to meet. I will also be at the Bloomingdale PetsMart on Saturdays from 11 – 3 but don’t wait too long; I am soooo cute that someone is going to want me really fast.

3/12/09 Update: Lancer's two cherry eyes have been fixed and so has he (-: He is crate trained and hasn't had an accident in the house in 4 weeks. He walks to the door and sometimes barks once if he needs to go. He has gotten used to walking on a leash and does very well when he is walked alone. If he is in a pack with my other dogs, he tends to pull and want to lead.
