(updated 6/14!) Hey there! My name is Mahlia, or Lia for short! I was found as a stray,
wandering the streets of Schaumburg all alone. I was picked up by the police and brought
to the kennels where I sat for 10 days until Almost Home rescued me and my foster parents
picked me up. That was about 2 months ago. Since then, I've lived happily in their home
with 2 other dogs and a few kitties. I do awesome with everyone! In fact, the perfect
home for me would have another dog for me to be best friends with!! I'm house trained,
crate trained, and working on the basic commands. I've got "sit" and
"wait/stay" down perfectly! My fosters describe me as more laid back than most
pups my age. My favorite place in the world is the corner of the couch, all snuggled up!
