Mirka is a sweet, young girl, about 1 year old. She has a very sad story to her life. One of our volunteers was heading to the store when a car stopped in front of him and a dog was thrown out the window. Sadly, it was poor Mirka. The nice AHF volunteer stopped his car and went to her rescue, just worried if she had been injured from the impact. He found someone to take her until he could call AHF to tell them what happened. Mirka is a very people and dog friendly Terrier mix. She is well behaved and loves to play with dogs at the Petsmart adoption events. Now all this little girl needs is someone to committ to loving her forever and never do this again. She did suffer a few road burns from being thrown out of the car but this is much better than broken bones. How someone can be so inhumane puzzles us.

This cute girl needs a foster home or better yet, a forever family who will cuddle and love her forever.
