Bow wow my name is Peter Pan

This story was written by ny wonderful foster parent.

Hi! I'm Peter Pan. I am a cute miniature pinscher mix. I love to lie under the covers or on your lap. I get really excited when I see other dogs or people, especially when I am riding in my car or looking outside our window at home. I love barking at birds, motorcycles, trucks or airplanes in the backyard. My foster parent - who also trains dogs - brought me to a six week dog training course called Rowdy Rover. It helps me redirect my excitement when I see strangers, other dogs or things. The reason why I get so excited is I am just scared and I lack confidence. So, I let the person or dog know I am scared. The family who takes me into their home will need to have patience and will want to help me continue in my training on how to deal with things that stress me. Little kids in the home would probably stress me out too much so older kids only. I get along with my foster brothers and sisters (one cat and 2 dogs so I would be fine with other pets, as long as you introduce me slowly. I look forward to finding my forever home!
