Bow wow my name is Piccolito

Piccolito is a little 6 lb Chihuahua. He is 6 years old and minus a few teeth. Piccolito has been fully vetted and is a very healthy boy. Piccolito injured one of his back legs, before being rescued by Almost Home Foundation, so sometimes he will walk or run on just 3 legs. This injury will not stop Piccolito from having fun.. He would prefer a person or family that does not work long hours and can be home with him often.

Piccolito enjoys the company of humans and dogs. Small children may be too rough for Piccolito’s small size. He likes to play a little each day but does not require much exercise. He is not a huge outdoorsmen but enjoys short walks or playing in the yard with supervision.

Piccolito is a sweetie pie but can be stubborn at times. Piccolito needs a calm-assertive pack leader who is understanding and not afraid of Piccolito’s stubbornness. Piccolito’s foster mom uses calm assertive training and has currently eliminated the occasional stubbornness, but he will revert back to old habits quickly if this training is not continued in his forever home. Piccolito is a cutie pie who just wants a loving home to call his own.

Piccolito spends every Saturday at the adoption show looking for his forever home, so make plans to stop by and meet him. If you think your home is Piccolito’s forever home please email his foster mom at rhondar7@hotmail.com
