Do you know that black dogs have the highest euthanasia rate in high-kill shelters and have the lowest adoption rate? You have to meet Helena to get to know her charming, sweet and playful personality. She has beautiful brown eyes and a shiny black coat with a touch of white on her chest and a little on her toes. She is fully potty trained and a perfect size (about 30 lbs). She would make a great playmate for another dog or make a great addition to an active family. She loves going for walks and does very well on the leash and knows some commands, ‘sit’ and ‘down and she knows fetch. She is fully potty trained and goes in the crate for her foster family with no problems. She plays nicely with our other 3 dogs in our family and has a really good nature, you can pet her when she eats or take food or toys from her without any problems. Oh, and did I mention she LOVES toys? Any kind, - stuffed toys or kongs with cookies in them it doesn’t matter to her!
