Hi! My name is Keekoe and I am a 3 year old Maltese, Shih Tzu mix! I recently had a haircut and I'm looking forward to my fur growing back long and luscious like it should be...it is SO SOFT.

I am SUCH a good boy! I listen to my foster mom when she tells me what I should and shouldn't do. I love to play! Play with other dogs, with kids (I LOVE KIDS!), and my toys. I play very gently.  When I'm done, I love to snuggle up on your lap or next to you and take a nap. I am such a lover!

I not a big fan of cats. I saw one for the first time this week and I thought they were aliens and tried to scare them back to Mars! Didn't work though. Perhaps I could get used to one that isn't afraid of dogs.

The person that had me before, kept me on a chain all the time and never interacted with me or taught me anything. I was really skinny and scared and matted when Almost Home rescued me. I've opened up so much! I'm so thankful for my second chance!
