Ozzy has a sad story, like most of our dogs....due to financial
problems, his previous owners had to move from their house
and could not take their two dogs with them. He spent time
in the house even after the family moved, who came over twice
a day to feed them and let them out. They also had a cat that
he was good with. All I can say is thank goodness we saved
them!
NOW, his future is so bright, he has to wear shades! He is
a larger boy (about 60 lbs) and is fostered with 3 other dogs.
He totally housebroken and is having fun going for daily walks
and playing. He is one sweet, happy guy who just wants attention,
love and to know that he has a family that can take care of
him. He is crated during the day since we both work full time
and goes right in with no problems. He is quiet in the cage
too and has no accidents. He likes his crate and even goes
in there sometimes to take a nap. At night he sleeps on a
big dog bed at night in the bedroom with the rest of the pack.
He would love to sleep with us in the bed, but that is not
allowed (although I let him come up for a belly rub once my
husband goes to work).
Although we do not have any small kids, Ozzy does really
well with our grandson, who is 2 yrs old. He is not nervous
and just enjoys attention. He loves being outside and will
play fetch in the yard with a ball. He loves squirrel watching
too. He knows many commands, sit, down and wait. He waits
for me to tell him 'free' to eat his meals and he waits at
the door until I wipe his feet off before he comes in the
house. He is a beautiful boy and anyone who adopts him will
be lucky to have such a well behaved dog, just as lucky as
he will be to find his forever home!! He will treat his owner
very well and you will be his 'world'. I can't say enough
about how well behaved he is.
Won't you come by to see him at the next adoption show or
arrange a visit with me to come and see him during the week?
You will be happy you did!
