Cargo
WHY DOES EVERYONE PASS ME BY?
Hi, my name is Cargo. I was originally picked up as a local stray but I have been with Almost Home Foundation for a long time. I don’t understand why my family never came to find me. I thought I was being a good dog. I also don’t understand why it is taking so long to find my forever home. Could it be just because of my breed? You see, I am a terrier mix. I know that sometimes my breed scares people, but please don’t let that stop you from checking me out. I am two years old and just under 50 pounds. I am housebroken and know some basic commands like sit, stay and give paw. I would love to attend training classes with my new family as I think I would be good at it and it will give us time to bond with one another.
I walk well on a leash and usually get two walks a day. I also get plenty of time running in the back yard of my foster home. In the yard, I enjoy playing fetch and running around. I like it in my temporary home but what I really really want is a forever family of my own. My temporary dad wants to write some things about me now, so I will have to say “Bye” for now until we meet.
Cargo has a wonderful demeanor - he is very playful, affectionate and his tail is always happily wagging. He can be a little selective when it comes to getting along with other dogs. With a little work and proper introductions, Cargo could do well around other dogs. He is very people friendly and loves everyone he meets.
Cargo would make a great addition to an owner looking for a friendly and playful companion. If you are interested in learning more about Cargo or meeting him, please contact Mike Krysh via phone 630-398-0031 or e-mail at Mike.Krys@gmail.com
