CALLING ALL HUMANS!

Shelley was saved by AHF when she was young, around 1 year of age. She was adopted into a home that we thought was a keeper. But due to a “family situation change” Shelley found herself homeless again.

You know what is so amazing about Shelley? She still really, really loves humans! All Shelley wants is to be with her human companion. She will kiss you and snuggle next to you all day long. Although overweight, she absolutely loves to go for walks. She likes cloth squeaky toys or just cloth toys. Since she is on a strict diet, Shelley is enjoying bones to chew on. It is recommended that Shelley be able to find a home of her own. After being bounced around, Shelley has come to dislike other animals. But she deserves to get some humans love and kindness all to herself.

Now I want Shelley to share a few words of her own: My name is Shelley and all I want is someone to love and to have them love me back; someone to walk me and exercise me every day; and someone to let me give them kisses. I really really love my humans. My ideal home would have me be their only animal. A home without small children would be best as I don’t think all the running around and loudness would be a good match for me.

I love to run around and am good on a leash. I am very food motivated, so any training you want to do with me will probably be pretty easy if you are using food or treats. Maybe that’s how you can help me become a more confident dog. After playing and running around some, I love to curl up in my little doggie bed or better yet, curl up next to you on the couch. I have such a sparkle in my little eyes. Once you look into them, you will fall in love with me and I will fall in love with you. I believe in love at first site. Do you?
