Freddy's Black Kat Klub

Freddy’s Black Kat Klub was launched with the goal of finding forever homes for the black cats at Almost Home Foundation. Due to their dark fur and negative misconceptions, black cats typically take much longer to find homes than other cats do. The president of the club is Freddy, a very special black cat rescued by an AHF co-founder. You can read more about Freddy on his separate page, “Promoting Black Cats with Freddy.”

Every black cat at AHF is a member of Freddy’s Black Kat Klub, which means that they’re part of our special black cat adoption program. This program is currently under development, so stay posted…More details are coming soon!

As you consider our cats for adoption, please don’t overlook the black pearls of the crowd. Please admire their photos and read their stories. At the adoption shows, make sure to stop by their cages and say hello. In honor of black cats everywhere, please give the members of Freddy’s Black Kat Klub a chance.
