Reservation Guidelines
How do I purchase a month?
Go to www.events.org/ahf2011calendar and follow the instructions or mail a check with your order information to Almost Home Foundation, P.O. Box 308, Elk Grove Village, IL  60009.  You will receive confirmation of your order and also instructions about picture submission.

What are the requirements to purchase a month?
Each month is to be devoted to one AHF adopted dog or cat.  This is on a first come, first served basis.  After registering you will receive an email with instructions.
How many pictures should I submit?
Submit one picture of your pet alone and then a few other pictures, as many as you like.  These additional pictures may have other pets in them, but the main animal must be the AHF adoptee.  No humans; pets only.
What kind of picture should I submit?
Photos must be digital photos and should be as large as possible.  Please don't crop or make any changes to the original image.  Just send them the way you took them.  Do not send "professional" photographs unless you are the photographer - we cannot be held liable for copyright infringement.
In rare cases if this is not possible, please contact us and we will work with you to get your pictures.
When I submit my pictures, what other information do you need?
Remember to also send along your dog/cat’s name, the month you have purchased, your full name, street address and email address.
I understand that I must submit a bio. What information is required?
Include in the bio your dog/cat’s name, date adopted, age when adopted, a brief background history, and your name as you want it to appear in the calendar.  Owners' names will be included for each month.  We'll use this information to write a caption that goes with your picture.  Please understand that we may have to do some minor editing.
How soon do I have to submit everything?
We must receive your entry by September 1st so that the calendar can be designed and sent to the printer by mid-September.
Are there restrictions on who can purchase a month on the calendar?
You may not purchase a month for your AHF pet two years in a row.
If I purchase a month, should I also purchase a calendar?
Monthly reservations include one calendar.

How do I purchase a single day?

What exactly does a single day mean?
These are the small daily squares.  There are 365 of them but we do have a limit as to how many can be taken per month.
What are the requirements to purchase a day?
Entries can be any breed or species!  Bird, cat, dog, iguana, hamster ... we'll take them all!  Your pet does not have to be Almost Home Foundation adopted.
What do I do when I register on line to get the date I want?
When you register on line, you will give your pet’s name and then specify the top three ranked dates where you would like your pet's photo to appear.  This is on a first come, first served basis.  Spaces are limited.  We will do our best to give you your first choice.
How will I know what date I have reserved?
You will receive an email verifying the date and also instructions for photo submission.
