It's one, two, three strikes you're out!
But not at the Flyers for Almost Home Foundation Charity Event. We hit a home run!
Over 100 dog/baseball fans came to the game June 13. Those with and without dogs sat together in regular seats and others brought their chairs and blankets and sat on the lawn. Everyone enjoyed visiting with each other, checking out the information tables and watching the game. There was plenty of entertainment for the kids and lots of friendly wags between the dogs. Even the Flyers mascot, Bearon, had lots of wags and waves as he walked around the stadium wearing an Almost Home Foundation t-shirt.
Our very special Claire Sleigh was thrilled to accept the donation from the Flyers to AHF.
Thanks to all of you who support us in our mission to save these abandoned animals.
